The table: I love each and every one of you. You guys have been my best friends since 6th grade. We’ve had out ups and downs but when it comes down to it, we all have each other’s backs. I’ve never had such amazing friends and I love having 8 other girls I can talk to whenever about whatever.
My family: Each member of my family is amazing. If shit’s getting tough they’re there for me. My parents provide for me in ways better than what I could ever ask for. My brothers had some spice to my life with their insanely witty, and often annoying comments. I love the support my family gives me. They’re my rock
My past: This summer I fucked up. Alot. That shit made me who I am. Yes, I’m talking about one single person, my ex. He showed me a lot about what I do and don’t want. He’s been on my mind a lot lately because now I know how much I really learned from him, now that I’ve found someone I really do love.
You: Gosh, I’m so thankful for you. You’ve been there for me literally every day I’ve needed you. When my dad gets angry with me. When crew isn’t going my way. When my grades are sucking. Etc. Etc. You’re there for me every time. I talk to you every day. I want to be with you all the time. Every cutesy little song I hear reminds me of you. You showed me how it is to be comfortable, how to be vulnerable, how to let yourself fall. I love to be in your arms. I love holding your hand. I love how you kiss me. I love the late nights and early mornings in your car. I love everything about you. I love you.
My teammates: You girls are always there for me. Though our coaching situation isn’t ideal right now, everyone still shows up ready to work. I love all of you. You each are so different, so unique. I admire so many traits that each of you have. I can put my heart on the oar handle for you girls, and pull my fucking ass off.
Ugandan Friends: You guys all keep me grounded. Whether it’s looking at pictures of you all or talking on Facebook. I miss each of you. And I love each of you dearly. You guys are my inspiration.
Moses: Yes, though you technically fall under my Uganda Friends category, you deserve your own. I love hearing from you. Your advice is amazing. Your love for me is something I’ve never experienced before. You amaze me. You are the most dedicated young man I’ve ever known. I admire that so much. I can’t wait to see you again in January. You’re my best friend.
